Sift 3 cups of flour and mix it with 1 cup of hot water. Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth.
Roll out the dough. Cut out the circles (you can use a glass). Place your favourite filling on each circle, fold up and seal.
Add the dumplings to boiling water. Once they start floating, cook for about 3-4 minutes.
Place your pierogies on a floured plate or desk. Make sure each of them has a little bit of space so they don't stick together.
