Strawberry compote is my childhood taste. The grandma always cooked it for the whole family in a huge pot.
This is a great drink for summer days if you don't add too much sugar. You can cook a lot of the compote and keep it in a fridge for a few days.

You need:
400g rhubarb, chopped
800g strawberries
0,5 cup sugar
2,5l water
Method:
1. In a big pot mix the sugar with water and bring to boil.
2. Add the strawberries and rhubarb. Cover the pot and cook for about 10 minutes.
3. Turn off the heat. Add more sugar if needed.
4. Drink warm or cold.
