Banana spread is great with buns and sweet rolls. It literally takes seconds to prepare it. I had eaten the spread for the first time long before I became vegan. It was made with cottage cheese. When I looked at a bunch of bananas in my kitchen, I realized I had never tried to prepare animal free banana spread . I like the texture of this sweet spread, but the colour isn't the most beautiful in the world. |
200g tofu
3 bananas, mashed
0,5 teaspoon vanilla powder
2 teaspoons brown sugar (or more if desired)
Method:
1. Mash the tofu with a fork or in a food processor.
2. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. If the spread is too dry, add 1-2 tablespoons plant milk.
3. Keep in a fridge.
